So what do you want? – That’s my first question to everyone I mentor…what do YOU want? What do you want out of life, what do you want out of your art, what do you want out of your art business?

Dream Big – do whatever you goddam want – work out what it is you really want out of life and then work out how you are going to get it.

I was lucky – I grew up in a household that encouraged me to be independent and to be whatever I wanted, that, plus my in-built f**k-you attitude, meant that I went after whatever I wanted. It isn’t always easy, but I work hard  and I work it out.

When you face death, like I did a few months ago, it puts it all in perspective – weed out all the sh*t, don’t do what makes you unhappy – work out how to change your situation for the better.
